The Cheshire Weathered Limed Oak Medium sized oak glazed dresser is a very practical and stylish piece of kitchen or dining room furniture that provides plenty of storage and usable space. The dresser top features two glazed doors with safety glass over two smaller drawers and the base features two drawers over a large two door cupboard with an open internal shelf area.

The oak has a hand applied weathered limed oak finish that really brings out the natural beauty in the oak grain. The weathered limed oak finish oozes character and is achieved by hand rubbing white wax into the oak grain and it is then finished with a protective matt lacquered finish that is hardwearing and maintenance free.

This dresser is supplied with two types of round handle (brushed steel and matching weathered limed oak) giving you a choice. These handles perfectly compliment this item and give it an attractive feel that is both at home in a modern or traditional setting.

This oak glazed dresser is skilfully hand made with traditional time honoured construction methods using a combination of high quality North American solid oak for the frames, solid pine for the drawer sides and thick oak veneers in panels for increased strength and durability over time. The drawers features dovetail joints for increased strength and drawer stops to prevent you from accidentally pulling the drawers all the way out.

Please note that each piece of Cheshire Weathered Limed Oak is unique in colour and finish. Like a finger print the oak wood grain is unique and not one piece is the same. Solid oak varies in grain depth, pattern and colour and therefore you will see natural differences in colour within each item of furniture and within the solid oak used. The weathered limed oak finish is designed to accentuate the oak grain and therefore items with deeper grain structures will appear whiter in appearance compared to pieces with shallower oak grain structures. This is because the deeper oak grains will hold more of the white wax that is hand rubbed into it to get the desired weathered limed oak effect. This is perfectly normal and the furniture is designed this way and each item oozes individual character.

Both the sideboard and dresser top are delivered fully assembled in their own boxes. The dresser top simply requires placing on top of the sideboard and securing in place by screwing on a joining bracket. This is very easy to do however if you would prefer not to do this yourself then we do offer an assembly service for a small fee at checkout.
