Rustic Oak Extra Large Kitchen Island with Bar Top (5 Seater)

This Rustic Oak Extra Large Kitchen Island has a bar table top that seats 5 bar stools (2 bar stools on the side and 3 bar stools on the back). The top can be positioned in either a left or right side over-hang allowing you to configure it to suit your kitchens layout. There is a 300mm over-hang on the back and on one side to allow for comfortable bar stool seating.

The Rustic Oak styling incorporates thick chunky oak tops, softly rounded corners and occasional chamfered edges. The oak wood has a medium to dark oak staining that beautifully accentuates the grain and natural characteristics of this oak wood. The oak is then finished in an oil lacquered protective finish that is hardwearing and maintenance free.

The drawers and cupboard doors features metal handles that have a black matt paint finish that beautifully compliments the natural oak grain and character of this Rustic oak furniture.

This kitchen island provides huge amounts of storage space. On the front side there are three large drawers, four solid oak crates and a two door cupboard. The back of the island has two sliding cupboard doors giving access the full internal storage shelf area. The drawers have easy open heavy duty metal drawer runners and there are adjustable height feet to allow you to level the island on uneven floors.

This kitchen island is skilfully hand made with traditional time honoured construction methods using high quality North American solid oak for the frames and thick oak veneered panels for increased durability and stability over time. The four crates are made from solid oak and the drawers internals are made from solid pine with an oak stain. Altogether this is a solid piece of furniture that is designed to be passed onto generations to come. We offer a Free 2 person delivery on this item that includes complimentary assembly, packaging removal and recycling. It is delivered in two boxes (top in one box and base in another box). The base comes fully assembled and the top is simply bolted into place from underneath.

Please note delivery can only be made into ground floor kitchens with direct access from outside through double patio doors. This item has a minimum box width of 90cm and will not fit through internal house doors. Due to the heavy weight of this item it cannot be carried upstairs and can only be handled using a trolley. Please ensure you measure all access points along the delivery route from our delivery van to your kitchen patio doors including access through side gates and paths. Failed deliveries due to poor access will result in £50 return delivery charge.

This furniture does not require any maintenance and is designed to live on for generations to come. Please note as with all oak tops we do not recommend placing any hot plates or pans directly onto the oak top surface. Always use place mats and drinks mats. If liquid is spilt then always dry it off immediately to prevent any staining.
